I know it's been too long... but putting all that aside, in all seriousness, I have to ask everyone NOT to donate any money towards the Pakistan flood. For the past two weeks I've been 7km from the newly formed lake which has engulfed serveral villages. And in every direction the roads are cut off. So the only goods that are arriving are being helicoptered in by the army or by very adventerous & money-hungry businessmen. Everything is 2-4 times the normal price. Which for me, because everything is so cheap anyway, is not a problem. But it is breaking these poor people. And the situation will continue getting worse until the foreign aid stops. Sadly, when the army supplies arrive, they are passed on to corrupt officials who are selling the goods at the ridiculously inflated prices. And of course kick backs are given to the officers sending the supplies. As long as the problem continues, officials are making a lot of money & there is no reason to solve the problem.
