Sorry for the late & bad postings about Jordan. First... was out having a great time with great company & second... since it was so expensive, didn't lounge around any city for longer than need. But now... I'm on a beach in Egypt & finally on the African continent! (Although Egypt feels like & is considered part of the Middle East...) Funny, in the past month I've hiked thru both lush jungles & deserted desert expanses... & played with mischievous monkeys & anwry camels. Yet here in Dahab, which sits on the Red Sea, feels just like the many of the budget hippy resorts I hung out in SE Asia. Been here a few days... definitely needed some R&R but already hungry to leave... ready for some Egyptian not tourist culture! Tags: Jordan Egypt |
