Had this cast on my arm for almost a month now. Plus, I'm right-handed & it's my right hand/arm! Have to say, life with one hand sucks! God bless those that are permanently handless. Try it - spend just 10 minutes using only one hand. Can now use a fork with my other hand, & therefore off a finger foods diet, but still have to ask random people to put my hair up. Mastered opening things with my knees, feet & teeth (but don't wanna end up needing dental work here too). Have to say everyone's been incredibly helpful... often too helpful... the other day at lunch, 2 waiters found some wet wipes & washed my hands, then wanted to feed me, wipe my mouth, wash my hands again after & then when they offered me a toothpick... think they were gonna pick my teeth for me... that's when I had enough & kinda lost it...
