800 Mile Journey Update

"A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step." (Don't remember who said it or if I even got it right.) My ridiculously long journey's been pushed back 2 days. Finally gonna leave Addis tomorrow... there's been some heavy rain & kept picturing myself soaking wet, holding on for dear life on the top of a truck while the driver fishtails about in the mud on the unpaved road. But the road's paved & there's real transport to the next town... so at least heading there - Awasa. Gonna take that first step. Goin' crazy here in Addis. It's time to move on. Time to get going.
