If you're in a 3rd world country, you'll most likely experience a blackout. Hell, even California has its rolling blackouts. That's why always travel with a flashlight. And why not candles? Well... look at the photo.... left a candle on top. Did that the other evening... & melted a plastic shelf the same way some years ago.
