Really, thought the war in Sri Lanka was basically over. And it is. But never anticipated the rebels going out with a major fight. When I arrived they were bombing the capital. And yesterday bombed the city I'm headed to next which is only 30 minutes away. They always had a policy to avoid hurting tourists. But they're getting sloppy in their desperate last attempts. Scary.
